A long time in the making, however I finally managed to get Anya into my studio (we've been discussing for ages). An evening was planned between myself, her, and Saylor… a hangout among friends… under the premise of a just for fun photo shoot.
Nothing serious, simply experimenting with some new ideas – practising lighting and posing with no stress and no expectations - my favourite kind of session.
I had just started pushing into portraiture vice headshots, so the timing was perfect, and of course Anya did not disappoint… even despite the near broken foot. I like to think the photos were worth making her stand on it all evening. She works with many of the photographers in the local area, and it's easy to see why they all love her. Beautiful, photogenic, and just plain fun to work with... I was glad for the opportunity.
